LJ Stargate Atlantis StoryFinders and LJ SGA GenreFindes

Does anyone here know if the LJ communities Stargate Atlantis Story Finders and Stargate Atlantis Genre Finders have been mirrored or moved here to Dreamwidth, or if not, if there are plans to do so? I'm just not comfortable with "The New LiveJournal;" hence I'm looking for a place to ask for help finding fics and helping others when I know the fics in question. I note that the SGA Fic Reccers community has officially moved here, so I'm hopeful that Story Finders and Genre Finders have or soon will do likewise!

What's up with LJ, and where do I find analogs for LJ-SGA sites on Dreamwidth?

Like many others, I'm not really comfortable with accepting TOS that I can't read in the legally-binding format because I don't read Russian. I want to say, "WTF -- LJ has been operating for how many years in English that doesn't appear to be a translation, and now you want us to accept terms written in Russian? I don't think so!!!" I'm pretty sure that the original terms with which I agreed were in English, so why the change?

I've been reading stories on Dreamwidth for awhile, but am nowhere close to as familiar with finding things on this site as I am with some others. Specifically, I'm looking for Dreamwidth sites that mirror or cover the same content as the LJ Stargate Atlantis Story Search and Stargate Atlantis Genre-Finder sites.

Sorry for the small rant, and any help to find particular content on Dreamwidth would be greatly appreciated!

SGA Rewatch: Tentative Schedule

Hello again! A few days ago I made a post to see if anyone's interested in joining me for a Stargate Atlantis rewatch. It does seem like there's some interest, so now I'm wondering if you'd all like to get started.

This week (Monday 30 September - Sunday 6 October) I'll be watching the first three episodes, which are:

1x01 Rising Pt. 1
1x02 Rising Pt. 2
1x03 Hide and Seek

FYI:( includes spoiler policy or lack thereof )

4. and!! if subscribers to this community are annoyed with rewatch posts clogging your reading pages, let me know and I'll post primarily to my personal journal and/or decrease frequency of posts (after this my own rewatch posts will be once/week). I really, really want you to join me! If not in the rewatching, then in the discussions! If not in the discussions, then in the rewatching! I'm easy to please, but I don't want to be obnoxious.

** If it's ka pai with all, I'll try to remember to advertise the rewatch in other stargate/fandom comms. Or, if someone wants to do that for me, don't be shy.

SGA (Re)Watch

Hello Atlantis fans! I know you're out there; there are nearly 200 of us subscribed to this community.

I'm itching for a Stargate Atlantis rewatch. It's been almost exactly two years since my last one, which I absolutely sped through, so I'd like to take it easy this time around by enjoying my rewatch with icon making, fic reading, fic writing (fingers crossed), and hopefully! discussing episodes and arcs with other watchers.

Who would be interested in joining me in a rewatch? (Or a first watch! Invite your friends!)

My ideal schedule would be one season per month (a la GateWorld rewatch) and I'd like to have discussion posts in this community (as opposed to my personal journal), if that's convenient and acceptable to all. I'm willing to do some kind of weekly discussion prompt post if that would help generate community participation.

I'll do an Atlantis rewatch alone if I have to, but, I'd rather not have to.

For those (like me ;>) who miss the New Lanteans and think it all ended too soon. Stargate: Alliances begins a year after the destruction of the Superhive.
